 At Loveit cakes we take pride in ensuring that we deliver you the best products we can.

We are a fully registered kitchen and have food handling certificates.


Cancelations for Custom orders 

If your wedding cake is canceled 6 months prior to your wedding your full despot will be forfeited.

If your cake celebration cake is canceled within 2 month prior to your event, your full deposit will be forfeited.

If your order is cancelled 14 days prior to your pick up / delivery date the full payment will be forfeited.This Payment however can be redeemed for future orders.

Once an order has been started there will be no option to cancel your order.

We understand that things happen and if you need to move your date please notify us in writing.Your new date will be subject to availability.

If for some reason your new date is unavailable our refund policy is the same as our cancellation policy above.

This deposit can be used for towards another order. This cost cover the time spent emailing, website maintenance and fees & the processing of the refund.
Canceling an order on a date that has been booked out for your order means likely we have knocked back other clients and potential orders for the slot that you had booked in for.

Online Cake orders 

We do not offer refunds on orders placed on our online store that have been placed for the incorrect dates or change of mind. You will be given a store credit. If your oder has been started or complete you will need to collect your order. Please check the date carefully before proceeding to payment.

If for some unseen reason you need to cancel your for an appropriate reason you will occur a 15% cancellation fee. 
Your admin fee can not be used towards another order. This cost cover the time spent emailing, website maintenance and fees & the processing of the refund.

If your cake Online cake is canceled within 1 weeks prior to your event we do not offer a refund and you will receive a gift card to use on our online store for future purchases. 

Once an order has been started there will be no option to cancel your order.

COVID 19 Cancelations

In such uncertain times we understand that we may be locked down at any point no matter how close your event may be.

In this instance if we are locked down within 14 days of your order you will be eligible for a store credit.

If your order has been started we are unable to refund your money.

If for some unforeseeable reason we have to cancel your order a full refund will be provided to you.

 

Cake Florals

We take full changer over our cakes from start to finish, this includes the placement of fresh flowers on your cake.

As the Decorators we like to ensure that the design of your cake is up to  our high standard but also that it is safe to eat. Not only can flowers be toxic if not prepared correctly but we also ensure that the flowers are placed in the cakes hygienically.

For this reason we quote with flower.

 

Decoration Changes


Any changes made to your order within 7 days of the event may not always be possible. Depending on the changes a surcharge may apply. We will always try to accommodate you to the best of our abilities

Variations  From Pictured  Items

 

Please understand we may not be able to replicate a technique or certain items/ products that you have seen in pictures. Product variation in colours and other decorations may also occur. Fresh flowers are seasonal, we will do our best to accommodate or stick to your colour pallet, but we cannot promise that we will be able to source specific type of flower.

 

 

Damage

We take great care in the way we prepare our cakes so they are internally supported and sturdy enough to travel.

We recommend that your cake is placed on a flat surface for example the boot or the floor of your well air-conditioned car.

 

Once your cake has been picked up, please be careful. We are not liable for damage that may occur once it is in your care. If the damage can be repaired, there will be an additional fee.

 

Cakes delivered to the venue, will be safely displayed or stored. Once we have delivered the cake, any damaged is not our responsibility. If you request an emergency call-out and we are able to assist you we will do our best to restore the cake to its original presentation but a fee will occur.


Cake Storage

Please do not store Fondant (rolled icing) cakes in the fridge. Store in a cool dry place. Ganache cake can also be stored in a cool dry place unless advised otherwise.

Buttercream cakes should be stored in the fridge (in its box).

If your cake in on display please ensure it is out the elements (Sun & Rain) Failure to display the cake correctly may result in fading, colour bleeding, cracks or melting.

 

You will be provided with a cake care and cutting sheet upon pick up of your order.
